BOUTIQUE HOTEL CAN ALOMAR

Luxury Boutique Hotel Can Alomar is set in a magnificently restored 19th-century mansion, built on what was previously a 15th-century gothic palace. It exudes sheer style, sophistication and you will find amazing attention to details throughout. It is surprising that such an opulent and decadent hotel is located on the somewhat busy and iconic Passeig del Born, but then this is what makes it an excellent choice. It is tucked down a side street, yet is right in the centre; close to the key sights, local stores, cathedral, port, restaurants and more.

The hotel is one of the later offerings, with Can Cera, Boutique Hotel Calatrava and Boutique Hotel Sant Jaume also being on the list and worthy places to stay in Palma de Mallorca. All of the hotels have their own style, however, they have a consistent flair of luxury and elegance. Owner Miguel Conde Moragues certainly knows his trade when it comes to excellent locations, hospitality and renovation. The attention to detail is excellent and like the other hotels, this one has a charm, grace and sophistication. Original features are evident in some places, cared for with beautiful renovation.

OUR STORY

This 16 bedroom hotel is not only intimate but the team are superb. You have an array of facilities and options to help you enjoy your stay. To be honest it is easy to not leave - which sometimes you just rather call it a staycation than an actual vacation. The terrace consists of sun-loungers, a plunge pool to help you cool down on a sun-soaked day and a viewing tower. The lounge on the same floor as the restaurant is fantastic and perfect for moments when you just want to have a quiet drink or read the papers. Breakfast is served at the De Tokio A Lima restaurant and is an experience in itself. It is facing Passeig de Born and has a pretty canopy and view of the street. Whilst having breakfast you can hear the sound of horses walking by and the morning hustle and bustle, which pleasantly sets you in the scene. At night the restaurant is buzzy, with the Nikkei food being a huge hit. Creative, delicate and beautifully presented, you can find dishes such as; tuna tartare with spicy soy sauce, sesame and fried quail eggs and scallops, octopus and seaweed ceviche. Ideal when you feel the need to delve into a variety of dishes during your stay, expect a fine choice of menu with their fusion of Japanese, Peruvian and Mediterranean cuisine.
