PALAIS FARAJ

If you want to be spoilt while staying a stone’s throw away from the medina in Fez, Palais Faraj has all the luxury you need for an exotic adventure. All the spacious suites have exceptional living spaces with high-painted wooden ceilings, big beds, and extremely comfortable bedding. This authentic setting offers relaxation, a traditional hammam, two scrub rooms, three luxury cabins for massages and treatments, a relaxation room with a tisanerie for herbal tea and infusions, and an additional hairdresser upon request. The essence of beauty is displayed once you walk into the front door of Palais Faraj and get welcomed by everyone. When we delved into the Deluxe Room with a swimming pool view, we knew we were stepping into something magical.

Set on a hilltop overlooking the historic old Medina of Fez, Palais Faraj Suites & Spa sweeps guests into a magical world where the enchantment of a bygone time blends harmoniously with modern inspiration. Jean-Baptiste Barian, architect and interior designer, is a specialist of Moroccan craftsmanship and a follower of contemporary architecture. He has experience working with embassies and residences of princes and princesses and has done a phenomenal job with Palais Faraj. The actual hotel is the bold vision of local entrepreneur Driss Faceh.

OUR STORY

OUR STORY

Palais Faraj is almost the most comforting and extravagant a hotel can be. The rich heritage of the city of Fez has culturally inspired Palais Faraj to offer greatness in this area of Morocco. Each one of the 25 suites was designed and engineered to supremacy, with great art taking place and supplied with the latest luxury facilities. A well-respected balance between architect Jean-Baptiste Barian´s interior design and the elegance of arches, columns, stucco lanes, marble floors, and plenty of details within the decor give the alcazar the “wow” factor.

We also enjoyed a catered breakfast in bed and an early morning rest by the pool.
