OUR STORY

We stayed in a large one-bedroom apartment with views overlooking the beautiful canal. The apartment is 48 sqm with 1 double bed and 1 double sofa-bed for those that need accommodation for up to 4 people. For your convenience, the open plan kitchen has a bar table where you can host a cosy dinner or use when ordering food in. The kitchen features full-sized refrigerators/freezers, microwave, coffee machine, stovetops, electric water boiler, and all forms of cutlery.  

Adroitly furnished, the living space is big sized with a coffee table and entertainment like a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi service. The TV has dozens of cable channels, with a set of comfy chairs opposite the sofa bed for everyone to be able to spread around the living area in a comfortable setting.  

The complimentary Yays App is a digital form of the city's outposts of good food, shops and cultural hubs. It is a little neighbourhood guide in a pocket, available for any iOS or Android device. The best part about it is you can access the downloadable map without having any wireless access to your devices. The Yays App is exclusively available only for Yays residents, and with it, you will explore the neighbourhood's gems like a local.

We recommend getting to know the city by foot first to appreciate the sightseeing at a slower pace. Once you have picked up on the surroundings in Amsterdam, the bicycle is the next best way to explore the city. Every Saturday the knowledgeable guides behind Amsterdam Odyssey can give you an interesting approach to the area through a local expert's eyes. Stories about the pretty facades and architecture are told with much enthusiasm and insight. The locally produced Yays bikes are available upon request.
