Minois Village Hotel Suites & Spa is the ultimate epitome of a real escape. The Greek boutique hotel is located on the beautiful island of Paros, with its whitewashed walls and dreamy sea backdrop is relaxing, scenic and boasts a taste of the Mediterranean with incredible and authentic Parian dishes. Parasporos beach is a short stroll away and a convenient spot for watching the sunset after a day lounging at the hotel or exploring the island.

Sheer simplicity is what really sums up this luxurious boutique hotel. There isn't any fuss, making it ideal for those who really want to not overthink and have a holiday with ease. The team are fantastic and are hands-on for customised trips, reservations and any other services. They start as staff and really do leave as friends. Their attention to detail is excellent and they are a real big part of the culture at the hotel. You'll find an array of offerings to choose from with rooms including deluxe rooms, villas, junior suites and grand superior ground floor suites, some of which have sea or pool views. All options ooze pure sophistication and accents associated with the pure aesthetic of the Cycladic island.

Mornings at Minois Village begin with a healthy full spread unlike any other. Breakfast is quite an affair with a selection of Greek cheeses, cold cuts, salad, seasonal fruit, scrambled eggs, sausages and bread. It really is "breakfast for a king" and the service was always prompt and friendly. You can either start the day by the pool, inside in the bright and airy dining area or outside with the sea view.

We were fortunate enough to stay at one of the newly renovated deluxe suites on the ground floor, which also happened to have a pool view. Low lit white pendant lights, chic white and ice blue colour scheme, set with plenty of storage and elegant touches such as the glass sectioned floor - helped us disconnect immediately. The hotel also has a "siesta" policy, informing those poolside to be mindful of others and minimise noise between 14:00 and 16:00.

The idyllic retreat has a pool bar, so you can relax and enjoy a cocktail and choose a selection of local and casual bites for lunch. This is perfect for families with options such as salads, burger and chips among other worthy poolside eats. In the evening, head over to the minimalist Avli restaurant, which is unassuming and nestled on the sloping path and boasts views of the sea. We thoroughly recommend the veal stewed in red wine and the traditional zucchini croquettes, both are mind-blowing. The service is great and you can expect a good wine list. Paros boasts the largest fishing fleet in the Cyclades, so if you are a big fish eater do tuck into squid, cuttlefish, lobster, picarel, octopus, white sea bream and more.

If you really want to disconnect, there is the "Thalassa" spa facility where you can indulge in an array of beauty treatments, massages, and foot baths. They also have a hammam that you can use when you book a treatment. We took advantage and had a lavender and Parian salt body scrub, along with a back massage that was perfect for our romantic stay. If you like skin care treatments, they offer ones that are based on caviar, chocolate and gold.
