Sitges is a vibrant LGBTQ+ friendly seaside town approximately 35km from Barcelona. Unlike other towns along the coast, the small but mighty pueblo has bucketloads of character, charm, history and energy. One of the most distinct things you’ll notice is the pretty modernist or neoclassical houses influenced by Cuba. They line the promenade, where you’ll find locals sailing, doing yoga on the beach or riding their bikes. At night, Sitges morphs into a lively place with many bars and several clubs to head to for a good time. Whether it is the famous carnaval parade (a week-long celebration), the Sitges Film Festival, Pride or a Zombie walk, there’s always something taking place.
