We visited Town Hall Hotel & Apartments as a family during the summer months. What immediately drew us in was the building’s history—you can even get married here, which adds a romantic touch to the hotel’s character. After a slightly slow check-in, we were shown our suite, a delightful blend of style and practicality. The room had beautiful design touches, large windows that let in plenty of light, and was equipped with a washing machine and dryer, a convenience we truly appreciated during our stay.
Our suite had a kitchen area, making it easy to prepare small meals. The bathroom was another standout feature, with a large bathtub and excellent air conditioning, which was essential given the warm summer weather. We had a washer and dryer, fridge freezer and the essentials – perfect for those staying longer. Not too minimalist, with eclectic punches of design and colour from the cushions, bedding, lighting and art.
One of our favourite parts of the stay was the morning swim. Town Hall Hotel & Apartments boasts a small but intimate indoor pool, a rare find for a boutique hotel in central London. Our mornings started with a refreshing dip in the pool, followed by a well-prepared breakfast in a cosy setting, where the pendant lighting added to the atmosphere. We loved the full English and continental breakfast options. The walk itself from the suite to the restaurant serving breakfast is an experience itself, with detailed signage about the heritage of the building, restored benches perched under the windows and rotating art exhibitions lining the walls around the main staircase.
