Le Tre Stanze has that lovely bohemian atmosphere, where travellers can immerse themselves in the initial renderings of the building. This 3-bedroom B&B is in a 16th-century palazzo in Florence, only a few steps from the Florence Cathedral. Once inside, a splendid staircase with wide steps welcomes you. The entrance ceiling has glass that illuminates the whole interior. All of the common areas are serenaded with vintage furnishings and antique treasures, with the lounge being the real winner with its airy feel, giving you the feeling that you are in your own private home. The communal garden is serenaded in warmer months with sun loungers and tables.
OUR STORY
All three bedrooms are pretty big, about 45 square metres on average. An all-en-suite, fully equipped bathroom is included. Expect 50’s and 60’s style decor, with a touch of modern flash. The Junior Suite has separate rooms if you wish to have more space. We stayed in the La Mansarda (suite), our favourite for its panoramic terrace overlooking Florence and Brunelleschi dome. A large wooden table for reading and a tiny kitchen still conserved from when the building was first installed.
The lounge area takes you back 50 years ago, with dozens of vintage finds and brilliant homely touches. There is a kitchen for all guests to use. Breakfast is not included, but rest assured, as there are dozens to choose from downstairs. If you fancy a morning in, you can bring back your brekkie in and enjoy it indoors.
Children under the age of 5 can stay for free, which makes it easier for families with little ones. This place is brilliant for a group, as you will feel like the house is yours to enjoy.
