Minos Beach Art Hotel is a 5-star resort that actually feels like a boutique hotel as the bungalows are quite spread out and everyone has their own private outdoor space to themselves. We especially love the two beaches, on most mornings, it almost felt like ours for the taking. If you ever get bored of the sea, the freshwater heated pool is your salvation. The immense section of the pool has a bar, where you can enjoy drinks of your choice under the Cretan sun. 

For lunch, there is the waterfront Cretan tavern, the Terpsis restaurant. The first plate is a typical Cretan buffet of your choice with a main which has choices of meat or fish. Once a week for dinner, you can expect a Greek folk music performance with dozens of extremely cardiovascular, jumpy dance. The selections at these dinner events tend to be a more rustic Cretan choice of food with Greek-style lamb on a spit. There's also the Bacchus & Ambrosia which, Bacchus is where you begin your sumptuous breakfast with a lavish buffet selection of salads, cheese, pastries and a rich choice of appetisers and Ambrosia is the restaurant available for Superior and villas accommodation only. A fourth option for eating around the premises is the La Bouillabaisse restaurant, a Mediterranean gourmet cuisine overlooking the sea, open from mid-May till the beginning of October if the weather is still mild.
