CASA OLIVER PRINCIPE REAL

There's a communal area to swap tales in the lounge, in addition to free breakfast and helpful staff.

This cosy, curio-crammed boutique guesthouse allows you to take in the reviving Lisbon scene and enjoy the hipness that serenades the communal areas. Casa Oliver Principe Real is adorned with chic, vintage pieces and comfy standard options are roomy enough to host a king-size bed and the sleek en-suites are stocked with complimentary toiletries. Here you will be central to some of the city's best offerings, only steps from Principe Real Square and the famous Botanical Garden.

Casa Oliver Principe Real is a former traditional palatial house from the year 1895, with individually decorated rooms, all with wooden floorings and a retro, chic décor. The reception manager Miguel is extremely helpful with the check-ins and any information you may need about the city, he will be happy to help. The person responsible for the general direction of the hotel is Sonia.

The shabby vintage rooms are beautiful and get a lot of light during the day. More importantly, they are comfortable and relaxing enough for a sound sleep.

OUR STORY

Casa Oliver Palacio Real's houses 26 rooms and suites all individually designed to meet the guest's comforts. 6 Suites have views of the fabulous Jardin del Principe Real and the rest overlook the famous Botanical Garden. The budget price and location makes it a winner, in addition to its boutiquey feel and great service. There is free coffee and tea in the lounge area and an honesty cupboard with water, crisps and other snacks in case you are having that midnight rumbling in the tummy.

Expect to find old fashioned shower heads, vintage telephones and other old age details in the room. The hallways of the building are decorated with expensive works of arts framed against the walls. In the morning you can have continental breakfast. The breakfast room is quite small, so there isn't the best of privacy when you are eating. If you are a fussy eater and prefer a bit of aloofness, you can expect to find dozens of good breakfast spots in the neighbourhood.

There is a relaxing communal area where it is best enjoyed on your down time. This is where you can sit and read a book or browse through the internet on your mobile devices without feeling like you have to stay in your room. Convenient amenities include complimentary high-speed Internet access, express check-in and express check-out. What we most loved about Casa Oliver Palacio Real is the decoration, the helpful staff and cleanliness of the rooms.
