ESPACIO ESLAVA
Everyone loves a good terrace with wonderful views of their surroundings; combine that with an apartment building hosting guests whilst on vacation and you will feel bad forever leaving them. Espacio Eslava is situated in the heart of Seville, in the cosy neighbourhood of San Lorenzo and more precisely on the small street of Eslava. The penthouse and 3 apartment suites are fully equipped and you even get fresh fruits and water upon arrival. Additionally, the Eslava Bar & Restaurant downstairs from the apartment building is known to be one of the most representative culinary delights of true Andalusian and Spanish cooking. Throw that in with the Isla Magica theme park at a nearby distance and the Seville Cathedral a mere 15-minute walk, there are more than enough reasons to book a stay.
Rosa María Borja and Sixto Tovar are the owners of Espacio Eslava. In 1988 they set up the restaurant wanting to initiate a nice atmosphere where people could relax and eat well. Today as it stands, they have a restaurant, tapas bar and earlier this year launched their boutique apartment offering.
OUR STORY
Breakfast on the rooftop terrace, which we didn't get to take advantage of but we did indeed enjoy the shady area in the evening. There is daily housekeeping for those interested, in addition to cots upon request for those travelling with children. The huge advantage of the apartments being located above their vibrant and ever-popular restaurant is that you can get room service from there, most definitely an extra! Beds are also super comfortable as they have memory foam mattresses. You also get a very elaborate guide that features a range of details such as recommended places to eat, places of interest nearby, supermarkets etc, all extremely useful when staying at a self-catered apartment.
