British Escapes for all Seasons by the Coppa Club

Coppa Club’s first opening dates back six years ago (2015) in the Berkshire countryside village of Sonning-on-Thames, as a space that combined all the best elements of a café, bar, restaurant, and lounge into one offering that provided something for everyone – a private members club experience, without the membership fees, in an informal, relaxed setting. Fast forward six years later, and current locations include Tower Bridge, Clifton Village which opened in early 2021, Cobham Village, Henley-On-Thames, Maidenhead, Brighton in addition to Streatley-on-Thames and Sonning-On-Thames, which both offer riverside hotel bedrooms.

Diverse collection of British accommodation

Each venue reflects its individual location with Tower Bridge, Sonning-on-Thames, Brighton, and Cobham all featuring beautiful, wooden igloos that offer dining for groups of up to eight. Coppa’s igloos are designed with luxury in mind to reflect each season and provide a private dining experience with panoramic views. Coppa Club’s venues also include a roof terrace (Cobham), expansive gardens, terraces, and conservatory that is perfectly designed for alfresco dining, bringing the outside in (Streatley-on-Thames and Sonning-on-Thames) as well as cosy library corners with fireside sofas, restaurant and bar seating, alongside café culture.

Coppa Club is opening a new hotel and restaurant in Surrey, following the sale of The Georgian Hotel in Haslemere. The full refurbishment is already in plans, with the listed building converting into a boutique hotel and restaurant, in addition to 18 new homes. Coppa Club has just secured its ninth bar and restaurant as of this date.

Additionally, you can stay at Coppa Club’s Streatley-on-Thames’ location, The Swan at Streatley. The property can host up to 130 people for a wedding ceremony, with the option of guests’ arrival by car, boat or helicopter, as it is adjacent to the River Thames. Double rooms go for £80 per night, and you are roughly an hour away from London city. The 47-bedroom property has a dog-friendly policy, so you can enjoy walks with your companion. The grounds even include a private island!

Another of Coppa Club’s hotel is pure merit, The Great House at Sonning. A 49-bedrooms boutique hotel, again, roughly an hour away from London. There are spaces for large gatherings in sweeping open-vast lawns and ample riverside space. A superb location for outdoor activities and weddings as well.

Cosy Thames-side Igloos for the festive season

Coppa Club’s Thames-side igloos have been making airways recently since their second comeback of the year, this time for the winter occasion in 2021. With the pandemic obligating people to form smaller groups in social settings, the Coppa Club igloos offer one of the best solutions when out and about in London city by isolating yourself from others, while being able to enjoy a meal with your immediate circle. You get to hang out in a beautiful protective bubble, that allows you to stick to government protocols and be able to enjoy yourself in a myriad of pleasurable food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The all-day à la carte menu features a contemporary take on European classics and includes local and seasonal ingredients. You can enjoy a selection of small and sharing plates, fresh pasta, sourdough pizza, salads, and grills. Coppa Club is also renowned for its pudding menu which includes British classics such as sticky toffee pudding and chocolate cake, as well as the brand’s expansive cocktail menu that features a tiramisu martini and hibiscus margarita.

From Coppa Club Tower Bridge, you have crystal clear views of Tower Bridge and The Shard. The social setting is great as you are in a location that is easily accessible by public transportation. For the winter season, the igloos are decked out with gleaming lights, silky blankets, candles, and cheery holiday decorations, all of these elements portray a unique pink and green theme, thanks to a partnership with Champagne Laurent-Perrier, which goes hand-in-hand with the upcoming Christmas festivity. Book your experience on the Coppa Club’s website, or if you are unable to score an igloo booking online, there are walk-ins available in a first-come, first-serve vacancy.

The Coppa Club is one of the fastest growing groups of the past few years in the UK. To stay in the loop, keep checking back to their website so you don’t miss their latest openings.
