MASSERIA ALCHIMIA

This is the place for nature bumpkins with a genuine appreciation for simplicity and design. Graced in a bohemian-rustic style with embellished elements of chic in the sophisticated corners of the Masseria, in addition to the sights surrounding the premises with kilometres of olive trees, countryside, and the nearby sea. The beautifully observed Masseria Alchimia is the perfect hideaway for those who seek peace and feel strongly about engaging in nature’s surroundings.

In the 17th century, the Masseria was a small hermitage, only to be bought and revamped by owner Caroline Groszer in 2006. She transformed this rural resort into ten studios with carefully selected modern living elements that engage well with the rustic elements. Ambitious, hugely impressive, and beautifully observed, Caroline has been catering to guests from all over the world with her piece of Puglia.

OUR STORY

OUR STORY

Lovers of architecture will rapidly admire the design elements of Masseria Alchimia. The surroundings make it more grasping, as Fasano is an area in Puglia rich in land, with clear blue skies and the most impressive drives of olive oil trees. The astonishing calmness in the air, savouring slow travel concept, and admirable joie de vivre are genuinely epic on this side of the world.

All apartments in Masseria Alchimia are fully furnished and have brilliant combinations of deep, warm colours and materials. Guests can choose between a one-room studio, a spacious two-room studio, or a deluxe studio with 140 m2 for a bigger space catering to families. All apartments feature a kitchen nook, bathroom with shower or bathtub, hairdryer, multi-channel TV, WiFi, and a safe. Masseria Alchimia is an apartment-styled resort offering only accommodation but no breakfast. The self-catering service is better, as there is a nearby farm about 5 minutes walking distance where you can top up on natural, organic food like pasta, homemade bread, sweets, olive oil, fresh local cheese like mozzarella and ricotta, jams, and other products, you will greatly appreciate. The next-door neighbours for food and products are Masseria Monte and Masseria Lama di Pecora and Minimarket “Da Franco”. Expect to be a bit more independent at Masseria Alchimia than your average hotel stay, as the hotel staff have shorter hours than usual, and Caroline is the person who handles almost all of the check-ins.

Masseria Alchimia has an arrangement with White Beach Club, as well as with Lido di Bambù. Masseria Alchimia’s guests get special rates when renting beach chairs and umbrellas at these beach clubs, so be sure to ask the owner about these services. Additionally, there is the astonishing San Domenico Golf Course and the 9-hole course of Coccaro Golf Club. Any golf lover will crave it, as the views are stunning. Other arrangements include horse riding, tennis, a cooking course with the typical orecchiette Pugliese, pilates with a personal trainer, airport transfers, and other services.
