Conversas de Alpendre is a beautifully converted farmhouse surrounded by a large orchard with an outdoor swimming pool. The serene setting is smack in the middle of Ria Formosa Natural Park, where the glorious property blends with paradisiac views of the countryside. The approach is a delight with the groves of flowering evergreen trees and gnarled cork trees in the garden. Thanks to owners Marta and Tiago’s heartfelt hospitality, guests leave their dream stay with long-lasting memories of their holidays.
Conversas de Alpendre embraces the local Portuguese culture and heritage. The furnishings are all completed by local or Lisbon artisans, serenading the property with traditional azulejos (tiles) and rustic decor items like mirrors, rugs and stools. Expect to find tree-shaded hammocks and plenty of outdoor furnishings to lounge around the property while you relax poolside. Guests can explore beyond the pool area with the rental bicycles available and cycle to the nearby village of Cacela Velha, or head to the renowned Fábrica beaches for the day. There are also options for bird watching, golf and fishing as activities are plentiful in the area. Portuguese cuisine also plays an important role at Conversas de Alpendre as the property serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with an assortment of homemade dishes.
