Tas Otel, opened in 2001, the first “hotel de charme" in Alacati, a charming little town on the Turkish Aegean coast near Izmir which has successfully preserved its historical, architectural and cultural values. The opening of Tas Otel has been followed by many other small hotels and restaurants, from the simple and local to the top-end of the gourmet experience.
Alacati today is a top holiday destination among the Turkish elite and not so well known by international travellers- yet. The town offers crystal clear blue waters and kilometres-long sandy beaches, windsurfing at internationally recognised windsurfing clubs and some of the country’s best restaurants to enjoy an al fresco meal. Tas Otel is a century-old stone mansion, tastefully renovated and converted into a hotel with a swimming pool and peaceful green garden. It has been awarded as one of the “best 20 small European hotels” by the British Sunday Times.

Taş Otel is open all year round. The best months for a more quiet and peaceful stay are April- May and September- October. In the winter, you can enjoy the hotel’s fireplace, accompanied by a glass of wine and our three cats and our playful Golden Retriever Pan!
