Located in the pedestrianised area in the ever-popular ski resort of Schladming, the location is prime and perfect for those wanting to immerse in the ski region and enjoy the centre fully. Expect 230 kilometres of pistes, 85 state-of-the-art ski lifts and 97 quaint lodges within the vicinity. The Stadthotel, in particular, isn't your usual offering as the 24-room hotel has Asian-influenced architecture and a different take on hospitality in comparison to its mountainous surroundings. It's hard to imagine that it is a 500 years old establishment. In their own words, they are 'Your hotel for body, mind & soul'. Sustainability is highly important, with the build of the actual property applying numerous approaches to ensure that it is in harmony with the environment.
Style, practicality and relaxation are consistent throughout the Austrian boutique hotel. Rooms are elegant and beautifully entwined with their natural environment. Local materials have been utilised to produce furniture and other elements of the rooms. Some even have box seats by the window for taking a moment to relax and look out from the window. Affectionately named after 5 different sices, rooms vary across 5 categories. The 'Lemon' Family Suite is one of the biggest, comprised of 2 rooms across 62 m² and a westerly view. Whilst the Salt Junior Suite is a 34 m² space with a view overlooking the impressive Dachstein Massif.
There is a SPA where guests can enjoy a variety of treatments and which looks over the nearby rooftops. Guests can also enjoy yoga sessions, meditation, cooking classes and a distinct teahouse with a bespoke glass façade.
