Villa 1870 Corfu is a traditional 3-floor Corfiot mansion, built during the second half of the 19th century and carefully restored in 2018. The history and original architecture have been well-respected to create a delightful hotel for those visiting Corfu. Situated in Corfu’s Kefalomantouko district, it is a short distance from the historic UNESCO heritage site of Corfu town. Panoramic views of the blue Ionian can be seen from many corners of the villa, which is also circled by two acres of verdant gardens.
A stay at the Greek mansion is like a step back in time, with decadent arches, a welcoming wooden staircase and Venetian blinds. Comfort is at the forefront of the property, with the classic rooms fully facilitated with airconditioning and cooling system, WiFi TV, laundry facilities and fully-equipped kitchen. There is even a wine cellar with a range of wines to sip and swirl on balmy sunny evenings. Those travelling as a family are fully catered to with a high-chair, cot with mosquito net, travel cot, baby bathtub, a steriliser for bottles, child car safety seat and more.
