For the first time, London's Regent's Park has been the elegant backdrop for contemporary sculptures, as part of the outdoor art display Frieze Sculpture 2017. Visitors can view marvels by artists such as Magdalena Abakanowicz, Rasheed Araeen and Urs Fischer at the pop up showcase for free. Frieze Sculpture has been open for throughout the summer months and its closing coincides with two of the biggest art fairs, Frieze London and Frieze Masters which both take place from the 5-8 October. Frieze London is dedicated to showcasing the very best in contemporary art, whilst Frieze Masters focuses on art and heritage. If visiting the fair this year we recommend taking advantage and seeing the sculpture display at the gardens.
