Expo Milano 2015

Expo Milano 2015

From the 1st of May to October 31st, Milan will host the Universal Exposition (Expo), the most important event showcasing all countries of the world, where they can show the best of their technologies and innovations, helping to stimulate human progress through different experiences.

"Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life" is the theme and the common thread of Expo Milano 2015 to encourage international discussions through organised events. The idea is to give an answer to a vital need for mankind: to ensure enough healthy food for everyone, to respect nature and avoid food excess and injustices.

More than 140 participating countries will present their solutions at their represented pavilions. The aim will be to not only demonstrate the most advanced technologies for a sustainable future, but to spread the word and create an interactive event bridging the world together in one place.

For six months, events will take place not only in the pavilions but also across the city of Milan. This city is live and ready to attract the masses with its links to two highways, two airport, metro and their high speed rail line to the centre. The city boasts restaurants, places for events, concert halls and exhibition areas attracting thousands of performances, concerts, workshops and exhibitions.
